YouTube, Twitter, and Face book are no longer in demand. If you want to communicate with Extraterrestrial Life forms you have to do it through a new project called “Lone Signal.” This project has been build as a crowd sourcing messaging to intelligent life (METI) platform in order to communicate with earth. Some sources already believe that Extraterrestrial Life forms are communicating with earth, but that we don’t fully understand it yet, or that we can’t respond properly. You can try now to communicate with them as well, all you need is Internet access, and you are ready to create, and transmit messages to strategic targeted stellar systems. Today is a historical day because “Lone Signal” will have access to “Jamesburg Earth Station” in Carmel CA, in order to contact “Goldilocks zones.” (These zones, circumstellar habitable zones, are known places were there might be Extraterrestrial Life forms waiting to communicate with earth.)
If interested you can submit content to the site of “Lone Signal.” The content can be anything from stories, photos, video, and even pod casts are possible to submit, and transmit. “Lone Signal” is a pioneer, never before has a project on this scale ever seen the light of day. Stephen Hawking however is not happy with this development. He thinks the public isn’t ready to contact Extraterrestrial Life forms, and start communicating with them. He said: ”we should have be wary of answering back, until we have evolved a bit further. Meeting a more advanced civilization, at our present stage, might be a bit like the original inhabitants of America meeting Columbus. I don’t think they were better off for it.” This sounds like we should not stir things we don’t have experience with. What if he’s right, and we unleash something we can’t control? Extraterrestrial Life forms are probably communicating with earth but we shouldn’t answer just quite yet.
So far “Lone Signal” hasn’t been Earth’s first move to start communicating with Extraterrestrial Life forms. Astronomers haven’t always just listened, and tried to decipher the message that probably came from the ET life forms. Instead they blasted their own messages in space, which was met with a lot of critique. Most people fear the unknown, and do not want to provoke any one especially not Extraterrestrial Life forms . Therefore they wanted them to cease this behaviour, and study first instead of taking action.
Trying to communicate with Extraterrestrial Life forms has been going on since 1974, people have transmitted numbers one through ten, atomic numbers of elements in DNA, graphics of a human, the solar system, Arecibo, musical melodies, text messages, photographs, and drawings in to space. So far Extraterrestrial Life forms might be communicating with earth but we haven’t been able to figure out how, why, and what to do with it? It’s also not sure if ET life forms, no matter how intelligent they are, actually understand what we are trying to say. The astronomers said: ”Modern technology allows for large amounts of data to be transmitted at moderate costs, but the broadcast of massive amounts of information assumes that the recipient extraterrestrials will be capable of comprehending a complex message.” Lets hope “Lone Signal” might be able to get through, and that Earth can start communicating with Extraterrestrial Life forms, wouldn’t that be great?
